A competition has been announced among the media for the best coverage of public procurement issues

The State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on Procurement, the Republican Agency for Press and Mass Communications "Tatmedia" and the Joint-Stock Company "Procurement Development Center of the Republic of Tatarstan" are holding a Republican competition for the best media coverage of the functioning of the contract system in the procurement of goods, works, services for state and municipal needs.

Objectives of the competition:

- raising public awareness about the functioning of the contract system in the field of procurement, openness and transparency of information in the field of procurement;

- stimulating the activity of public discussion of the functioning of the contract system in the field of procurement, improving the efficiency of the use of budget funds, creating a competitive environment, stimulating innovation;

- attracting the attention of republican producers to the issues of participation in procurement for state and municipal needs;

- attracting the attention of small businesses, socially oriented non-profit organizations, organizations of the disabled, institutions and enterprises of the penal enforcement system to the issues of participation in procurement for state and municipal needs.

Works published in the period from January 1, 2021 to November 30, 2021 and meeting the objectives of the competition are accepted for participation in the competition.

Entries are accepted until 18.00 on November 30, 2021 inclusive.
