On procurement website introduced blocking control in damage of the order of binding public major purchases discussion

"From January 1, 2014 public discussion purchases worth more than 1 billion rubles is required. Ministry of Economic Development conducts fixed monitoring of procurement. By public discussion procurement experts have already joined a number of public organizations ", - said Maxim Chemerisov, the director of the Department for Development contract system. 

On July 1, 2014 on the official procurement website provided blocking control. It eliminates the realization of purchase if the customer binding the order of compulsory public debate major purchases.

 Under the law of Russian subjects, regions can set their own orders discuss large purchases. By June 30, 2014 the six subjects of Russia two municipalities have lowered the subliminal of initial (maximum) contract price for such a discussion to 500 million and 50 million respectively.
